We are always seeking passionate and dedicated volunteers to assist in our mission. Our organization can make a real difference in the community through the generosity of our volunteers.

We are seeking volunteers to help out with upcoming events. Event volunteers are an important part of how we facilitate and coordinate community events. Volunteers will be on-site to help with various tasks around set up, event management or breaking down events. The web content producer will coordinate with the Board of Directors to keep the pwpride.org website up to date with events and other administrative updates. They will coordinate closely with the Events Director, Marketing Director, and other board members to timely update the site. 

Are you passionate about community engagement? This role is one of the most impactful ways you can support PW Pride — putting our events directly in front of the people and places that help our community thrive. 

What you'll do:

• Drop off event flyers at local businesses throughout the area
• Represent PW Pride in a positive, professional way
• Coordinate with our Marketing Director on timing and materials

Ideal for someone who loves getting out in the community and making a hands-on difference. This volunteer ideally has a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and is comfortable walking short distances. The hours and schedule are flexible! Locations are in Port Washington & Ozaukee County

The event and marketing committee meets at 5:30 p.m. on the 1st Monday of the month to plan upcoming events and projects for PW Pride. Stop by to lend a hand or share your ideas! The committee meets in our office at 548 S Park St Bldg 1 (inside StarrFit).

The Events Director is seeking a volunteer to support the Events Department with organization, outreach, coordination, and general administrative support for events. If you love working with businesses, community partners and also have organizational skills that you think would fit well with event planning and coordination, please get in touch with April Hart at ahart@pwpride.org. We’d love to hear from you! 

Help support the organization's programs by raising funds to expand access and impact. The committee identifies and plans opportunities for financial support via sponsorships, grants, and individual giving.  The next committee meeting is scheduled for October 13 at 4:30 p.m.  The committee meets in our office at 548 S Park St Bldg 1 (inside StarrFit) with a virtual option.

Do you love to host? Hosting a Coffee Connection as a representative of PW Pride is an easy way to connect with the community and get to know others in a casual setting. This volunteer will be responsible for setting up a welcome table and activities, greeting attendees, creating a safe and welcoming environment, and cleaning up the space and materials after each event.

Want to start a club? Help build activities and safe spaces in our community! This volunteer will act as a representative of PW Pride by facilitating queer-friendly groups or clubs in the Port Washington community. Activities include, but are not limited to dog-walking, hiking, board gaming, or book clubs, depending on the volunteer’s interests.
